You train one-on-one with a specially trained optometrist who guides you step by step and tailors the training precisely to your individual needs. The program includes ongoing examinations and follow-ups, which can take place online or in person – whichever suits you best.

Mette Larsen’s vision problems began after two attacks triggered nystagmus, causing jumping and unstable vision. Lara is eleven years old and, although she is a bright girl, she struggled with reading for a long time. She skipped lines, had difficulty focusing, often suffered from headaches and became tired quickly. The cause was poor binocular vision, where the eyes did not work together. One eye often drifted inward or outward due to muscle weakness, without Lara herself noticing the problem.

Vision is often an underestimated element in professional football. That’s why FC Midtjylland brought in TrainYourEyes. Maria Beadle, Annette Vinding, and Helle Skov Primdal are responsible for vision training aimed at giving academy players sharper overview, faster reactions, and stronger visual control on the pitch.

Before the season, Maria Beadle was hired by a German Bundesliga club to test and optimize the players’ vision. Since then, she has visited the club every two to three weeks to follow up on tests and ensure that players who need it receive targeted vision training as part of their performance development.

Jakob’s rehabilitation was based on an interdisciplinary approach involving occupational and physical therapists, a neuropsychologist, physician, nurse, neuro-optometrist, and speech therapist. The course is described as exceptionally successful, largely due to Jakob’s strong will and determination. Outpatient visits have now been reduced, and Jakob continues to make steady progress independently.
